So you're interested in lessons!
In my lessons, I focus on teaching strong technique to create healthy vocal habits. Additionally, I strongly encourage a positive and healthy outlook on the theatre and entertainment industries in general by making sure my students use positive self-talk, don't compare themselves to other performers, and focus on showing off what they do best in the audition room instead of trying to mold themselves into what they think the people behind the table want to see. In every lesson I aim to create a safe space where students feel that they can talk to me and make mistakes so they can really learn and grow.
By now, you probably already know who I am, but I'll restate a few things just in case. I graduated from the University of Illinois of Urbana-Champaign in May 2022 with a Bachelors in Lyric Theatre, so I am trained in both Musical Theatre and Opera, but I have been playing in bands and performing pop/rock, etc. since around 2012-13. I began vocal coaching around 2019, specifically as supplemental coaching for kids' audition prep, but I expanded my studio in the following years. I teach mostly kids ages 8+, but all ages above 8 years old are welcome! I coach virtually at this time, using zoom, and you can book either half hour ($30) or hour long ($60) lessons. Cancellation Policy: Please supply at least 24 hours of advanced notice in the case that you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. If less than 24 hours notice, I request that you still pay for your lesson. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
